Step-by-step

How It Works

A simple path for families and tutors to connect, compare options, run lessons, and keep records. Learner accounts are optional and mainly help keep records in one place.

For Learners and Families
  1. Find a tutor by subject, location, teaching option, rate, and availability.
  2. Send an enquiry with your questions and preferred times without paying a platform fee.
  3. Create a learner account only if you want conversations, lesson PDFs, invoices, and receipts grouped in one place.
  4. Confirm lesson details directly with the tutor once you are ready to proceed.
For Tutors
  1. Complete your tutor profile and highlight your expertise.
  2. Publish availability and respond to enquiries as your schedule allows.
  3. Tutor Membership is optional if you want live whiteboards, streaming, recordings, saved lesson PDFs, invoicing, receipts, analytics, and client workflow tools.
  4. Use your account tools to manage lesson planning and keep your tutor workflow organised.
What To Expect

We prioritise on-platform messaging first. Moderation, reporting, and spam checks help keep conversations safer, and contact details stay protected until the workflow allows them to be shared. Guest enquiries are supported, while learner accounts are available for families who want a persistent record hub.

Learner-Linked Records

Learner accounts can keep multiple household members under one login, then connect enquiries, shared whiteboard PDFs, invoices, and receipt records to the right learner when those records are available. They are optional, but useful when one household wants organised records.

Identity Verification

Tutors can upload government identity documents such as a National ID, passport, driver's permit, or other government ID. These uploads stay private for admin review. A public identity badge appears only after two identity documents are approved.

Identity step Private by default

Private Upload

The tutor uploaded an identity document, but admin has not checked it yet

New identity uploads are not shown on public tutor profiles. They are stored for review so admin can decide whether the document should be approved, returned for attention, or deleted.

Not visible on the public profile Not yet checked by admin
Review method Remote review

Online Identity Check

The tutor showed an identity document during a live online review

This level is used when the tutor shows an identity document in a live online session such as WhatsApp, FaceTime, Google Meet, Teams, or another video call. It means the document was reviewed remotely by Mr. Oudai.

Human-reviewed online Counts toward the two-document requirement
Public badge Two documents approved

Identity Checked

The public badge shown after two identity documents are approved

Families see one identity badge on the public profile when admin has approved at least two identity documents. The badge confirms an identity review was completed; it does not publish the documents themselves.

Public profile badge Documents remain private
Availability
  1. Tutors open Edit profile and switch to the Availability tab.
  2. Each time slot can be turned on or off without being deleted.
  3. Learners see only active slots on the tutor profile.
  4. Use enquiries to confirm which listed time works best.
Whiteboard
  1. Tutors create a whiteboard session from their account and can link it to an enquiry.
  2. Share the board link so learners can open the read-only lesson view.
  3. Use notebook, graph, drawing, text, ruler, compass, protractor, and eraser tools while teaching.
  4. Start a live stream when the learner should watch the board like a video feed and speak through the session audio.
  5. End the session after saving board content to make the PDF lesson export available. Public board links stay available for 30 days, while tutors keep dashboard PDF access for 12 months.
Recordings
  1. Tutors can record a whiteboard tab or a live stream session when a video record is useful.
  2. Saved recordings are available from the recordings manager for 24 hours.
  3. Download recordings before they expire if you want to keep or upload them elsewhere.
  4. Recording access is part of Tutor Membership and is intended for lesson follow-up or tutor content workflows.
Invoicing
  1. Tutors create invoices from the Invoices area in their account.
  2. Add lesson details, line items, totals, and due dates before sending.
  3. Share the public invoice link so the family can review it clearly.
  4. Record payments and keep the invoice as a running record of what was billed and paid.
