Our mission

Built by a Tutor, Built for Tutors and Families

This platform started with a simple idea: make it easier to find the right tutor and make it easier for tutors to advertise their services in one trusted place.

It is built around the real steps that happen before and after a lesson: discovery, enquiries, profile review, availability, live teaching, recordings, billing, and follow-up records. The goal is not to be a generic directory, but a practical tutoring platform that supports how families and tutors actually work.

How It Started

I am a teacher and tutor, and I have been teaching since 2010. While working with learners, I built online tools to support my own tutoring workflow. Then I realized other tutors could benefit from these tools too.

That is how this site began: not as a personal showcase, but as a useful platform where tutors can be discovered and learners can connect confidently.

The aim is simple. Families should be able to search clearly, compare tutor profiles, and send enquiries without being forced into an account. Learner accounts remain optional for people who want messages, lesson PDFs, invoices, and receipts grouped in one place. Tutors should be able to advertise professionally, reply to genuine enquiries, and use paid tools when they need live boards, recordings, billing, analytics, or client workflows.

Who This Platform Is For
  • Learners and families looking for a secure way to find tutors.
  • Tutors who want to advertise their services professionally.
  • Families who want clearer tutor information before starting a conversation.
  • Primary, secondary, tertiary, adult, and specialist learning support.
What We Stand For
  • Safer communication between tutors, families, and guest enquirers.
  • Clear tutor profiles that help users make informed choices.
  • Approval, identity verification, moderation, and reporting tools that support trust.
  • A practical marketplace that supports real education outcomes.
What Families Can Do

Families can browse tutor profiles, compare subjects and teaching options, review availability, and start enquiries. A learner account is optional and useful when families want messages, PDFs, invoices, and receipts kept together.

What Tutors Can Do

Tutors can create a public profile, upload identity documents for review, publish availability, reply to enquiries, save clients, and manage their tutor presence professionally. Tutor Membership unlocks live whiteboards, recordings, lesson PDFs, invoices, receipts, analytics, and client workflow tools.

Why The Workflow Matters

The platform is designed around the tutoring journey instead of isolated pages. Search leads to enquiries, enquiries lead to lessons, and lessons can lead to shared boards, recordings, invoices, receipts, and follow-up records when tutors need them.

Built For Real Tutoring Work

This site is meant to support real tutoring operations, not just listings. Tutors can move from profile setup and approval to active conversations, then into lesson-support tools when they are needed.

Live whiteboards, recordings, invoicing, receipts, analytics, saved lesson records, and client workflow tools are reserved for Tutor Membership so paid access is tied to practical tutor value.

Founder Background

The founder teaches Mathematics and Physics up to pre-degree level. That classroom and tutoring experience shapes the product, but the platform itself is designed for the wider tutoring community.

The long-term goal is to keep improving the experience one step at a time: clearer profiles, better discovery, stronger tutor tools, and a platform that feels useful whether you are trying to find support for one subject or build a serious tutoring practice.
